This site provides information about the life and work of our unique school.

It provides information about what is happening in school including staffing, school organisation, dates and events as well as celebrating the school's achievements and the achievements and work of the children.

Sark School is a school catering for children from the ages of 4 to 15. As the only school in Sark, the school plays an important role in the life of the community, its pupils and parents.

In 2004 the school moved to its present location at the heart of the island in brand new, purpose-built accommodation. The school benefits from large, well equipped classrooms, excellent ICT facilities and attractive outdoor spaces.

Sark School runs entirely independently of the UK and Guernsey education systems, although we are guided by the English National Curriculum.

The school has recently developed links with the Nisai Academy enabling pupils to study for GCSEs remotely online, supported by school staff. This means that, although many parents choose to send their children to secondary schools in England and Guernsey at the beginning of Key Stages 3 or 4, pupils are able to continue at Sark School until they leave school at 15 and complete their GCSE courses.

We hope you find the site useful and informative.
